Arulmurugan College of Engineering, started in the year 2012 as a partner of the youth of today, with an outcome-based laser focus on prosperity, shares the youth’s urgency and optimism for the future of the individual and the country. Arulmurugan College of Engineering is geared to work side by side with the individual students and committed, too, through the boldness by design and shape for future initiatives, to our continuous improvement and stake holders. Arulmurugan is an innovative and creative Institution. Eligibility

Entry Requirements For B.E. & B.Tech Programmes

A pass in 10+2 (with 50% (for OC), 45% (for BC), and 40% (for MBC,DNC,SC,SCA,ST) average marks scored in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, i.e., (Mathematics out of 200 + Physics out of 200 + Chemistry out of 200)/6 for HSC academic stream.
HSC-Vocational stream, the average mark is calculated with the marks scored in the related subjects, vocational theory and practicals put together.
65% seats (GQ) are admitted through Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) by single window admissions and the rest by the Management Quota (MQ) based on common ranking provided by the Consortium of Engineering colleges approved by the Govt.
For GQ Anna University will issue the admission applications and for MQ, the Consortium applications can be obtained from the college.
For Eligibility and admission to the first year of various programs, refer the Norms of Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE), Chennai, TN and Anna University.

Placement

Arulmurugan provides its students the best in life, with placement centre functioning in the campus under the able administration with the assistance of an experienced faculty in each discipline. The very active placement centre serves as a foundation for many careers by guiding students in right direction through continuous counseling and arranging for campus recruitments .This centre creates a meticulous database and assists the students in getting placed in national & multinational companies through campus recruitment.

Placement Activities :

Daily two hours training on Aptitude, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning sessions.
Daily one group discussion session.
Special Communication Development Training programs will be conducted by leading training Institutes once in a month.
Weekly once communication development training will be conducted by our trained faculties.
Minimum one Foreign Language (other than English) with International Certification is made compulsory for all.
The division mainly focuses on 100 % Placements.
Regular interaction by the Placement Officer with the students for fine tuning.
Imparting the importance of English by implementing as English Campus.
Equipped Language laboratory used to improve the students Communication in English.
Organizing the sessions for making the students employable and to meet the corporate expectations.
