About College
Arunachala College of Engineering for Women, promoted by Thottam Madhavan Educational and Charitable Trust, is the First Engineering College exclusively for Women in Kanyakumari District at 2009. The trust is engaged in educational and social activities in accordance with the need of the century. The trust started its journey with Arunachala School and continues its forward efforts with this Women’s Engineering College.
It is the only Institution run by Professionals and Academicians in Kanyakumari District. It is with this abundant experience and expertise that Arunachala College of Engineering for Women started its journey to provide opportunities for young women to strengthen their knowledge and develop the skills necessary for lifelong learning in the contemporary technological global community and enabling them to become global women leaders

A 'Pass' in recognized bachelor's degree obtaining atleast 50% of the qualifying examination (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) Candidates who pass in the qualifying degree course will appear for TANCET Exam

The placement unit plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for undergraduates and postgraduates.
The number of students placed via on-campus interviews continues to grow. Many reputable industries come to the institute on invitation to conduct interviews.It makes an effort to send the majority of students to in-plant training in order to improve their technical abilities and get practical experience.Starting from the first year, the Placement Cell provides career guidance sessions for all students. Mock Interviews, Group Discussions, Interpersonal Courses, and other training programme are arranged by the cell.
