About Us

A.R.Engineering college is an emerging institute of excellence in Engineering Education located on the Vadakuchipalayam, Kappiyampuliyur (PO), Vikaravandi (TK), Villupuram (DT), Tamilnadu – 605601. The college is run by the Sri Venkatachalapathy Educational Trust which has been in the field of education for more than a decade. The college is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to the largest Technical University, Anna University, Chennai.

In 2008, the College began with four Undergraduate Engineering programmes with an annual intake of 240 students, and now has six Undergraduate and programmes with an annual intake of 300 students. The AICTE’s clearance and affiliation with Anna University for such a progressive intake is a testament to the college’s consistent growth over the years. The college has grown considerably under the dynamic leadership of its Chairman Sri.G.Madhadevan, Vice Chairman Sri.M.Kuberan, B.E., M.Tech, Secretary Sri.M.Prabu, B.E., MBA., and Principal Dr.R.Panneerdhass, spear heading all academic and non academic activities.

Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of (10+2) Curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry Subject.

Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of Vocational Stream (Vocational groups in Engineering / Technology) as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Our college provides excellent transportation facility on all working days. All buses reach the campus before 9.20 am so that all students and teachers can attend classes by 9.30 am. Buses will depart from the campus at 5.00 pm to enable all students and faculty to reach home quickly and safely.
