Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology (AVIT), Chennai was established in the year 1998 as an affiliated institution under the Vinayaka mission university. Later it was affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai. In 2004, the institution was included in the ambit of Vinayaka Missions University, Salem. The institution is committed to imparting quality education to students from different socio-economic backgrounds. The institute is ISO 9001:2008 certified.
Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology was established in 1998. The institution is located in Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Kanchipuram, Chennai. The college campus spreads over 24.11 acres with a built-in area of 5.65 Lakhs Sq.ft. AVIT campus is wi-fi enabled with a speed of 100mbps internet connection. The institution is accredited by NAAC and NBA. The infrastructure of the college include eco-friendly campus, library, hostels, an ATM center, well-equipped research laboratories, gym, conference hall, etc. It provides National Security Scheme [NSS] to the students to improve their personality development and education relevant to the needs of the society.
