Adhiyamaan College of Engineering is one of the educational institutions developed by Adhiyamaan Educational & Research Institution – a trust, which was started in the year 1987-1988 to cater the needs of the nation in the development of technocrats and to provide facilities for educating and training men and women to meet the entrepreneurial and management needs. The management has created adequate infrastructural facilities and sufficient funds and is keen on developing the institution for higher education.

A 'Pass' in recognized bachelor's degree obtaining atleast 50% of the qualifying examination (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) Candidates who pass in the qualifying degree course will appear for TANCET Exam

For M.E the eligibility qualifications are:

Placements is one of the most important parameter, on the basis of which candidates choose the college for themselves and over the period of time Adhiyamaan College of Engineering has come out to be one of the most preferred institute for a large number of organisations for recruitment. Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Hosur has a separate Training and Placement Cell, which helps its students in securing placements every year in various esteemed organizations. According to Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Hosur, around 100 nationally renowned organisations visit their campus every year. According to the college, for the batch of 2022, 84 companies/organisations visited the campus and made 586 offers to the students of Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Hosur.
