Admission

UG Admission

The UG admission is made in two parts, namely, the Government quota and Management quota. The government quota admission of 50% of sanctioned strength is made by single window counseling conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the state Government. For Management quota admission of 50% of sanctioned strength, the state government has formed a committee for regulating admission in all engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. The committee is headed by a retired Judge. This regulation committee authorizes the association of engineering colleges to fill the management seats of all engineering colleges. The students get application forms from this association and send their applications opting for the colleges of their choice. The association prepares the rank list and accordingly issues an allotment order to the candidate based on the choice of the college. The management quota admission is done based on the allotment order issued by the management association.

PG Admission

The PG admission is also made in two parts, namely, the Government quota and Management quota. The Government quota admission is made by single window counseling conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the state Government through TANCA (Tamil Nadu Common Admission). The Management quota admission is done by the entrance exam conducted by the Association of Engineering Colleges.
