   Founded in the year 1994 by Shri. A.Srinivasan, the Dhanalakshmi  Srinivasan Trust has been in the forefront to implement “Right to Education” and has been providing quality education at affordable cost to the students in the region of Perambalur, Trichy and Neyveli. The Trust created out of an immense passion for contributing to the society, strives to promote the cause of education. Providing the necessary stepping stone towards individual growth, which contributes directly to the growth of a society and country as a whole, the Trust has worked towards increasing the availability of quality higher education in diverse fields keeping in mind the ever-increasing demand for professionally qualified youth.

   Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Educational Empire is one of the largest multi-cultural education hub of South India. operating from its headquarters, Permbalur, Tamilnadu, offering a number of Educational courses – from Arts & Science, Engineering to advanced research in Medical Sciences.  The group has state-of-the-art campuses at Perambalur, Trichy and Chennai.   The formidable chain of Educational service, run by DS group includes a modern sophisticated 3 Medical colleges, 4 Engineering Colleges, 3 Arts and Science Colleges, 2 Colleges of Education, 3 Nursing colleges, 1 Agriculture college, 2 Pharmacy Colleges, 1 Allied Health Science, 1 Polytechnic college and 2 Higher Secondary Schools. The main campus spread over 450 acres housing the institutions and hostels. The hostels are well furnished to give cozy comfort and delicious food is served to suit all the palates. In addition an in-built Medical centre, Banking facilities, Hygienic food outlets, and Recreation centre, complete the in-house requirements. The success of the Institution is measured on the basis of its Alumni’s placement and performance wherever in the world.

  The endowed Educational trust started  Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College (DSEC) primarily to promote Engineering / Technical Education to the Students in rural area of the backward Districts of Tamil Nadu. The DSEC (An Autonomous Institution),  established in the year of 2001 at Perambalur, Tamil Nadu has been providing 22 glorious years of Education.

 Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College (DSEC) strives to establish itself as a citadel of quality technical education in the global arena of Engineering and Technological Education. The college actively updates itself with Foresight, Vision and Perspective of committed Learning, Research and Training to meet the global demands for professional talents of international standards.  DSEC has introduced Skill-based Modules which help the Students to mould themselves with variety of Skill-based Learning. These Courses are designed to groom budding Engineers, become Industry-ready, Employable and Responsible Citizens of the Nation.

  The  Institution is accredited with ‘A Grade’ by NAAC in the year of 2015 and has been further Re-Accredited with the same Grade till 2025. The Institute is conferred with Autonomous status from UGC and Anna university for a period of ten years. Having achieved the Milestone of receiving Autonomy, the College has been relentlessly working with a hope of consequential development of the students in all aspects. In addition, the college is accredited by TCS. Departments Of BME, ECE and EEE are accredited by NBA. DSEC is run by the Silver Jubilee celebrated Group of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Charitable and Educational Trust, Perambalur, Tamil Nadu.

 Highly Competent faculty with Industry and Academic experience caters to the needs of students on curriculum which helps them to meet the global challenges and the needs of employers. Project-based learning is incorporated to equip Research skills among the students. Various Student-centric activities such as Continuous assessment, Assignment strategies, Student initiative Material, Virtual Lab, Project Monitoring Committee, etc are conducted by the College. With regard to Training and Placement, the College organizes Personality Development programs to ensure marked transformation of students from-Campus-to-Corporate level with nearly 85% of students having been placed in various reputed industries year on year. Major recruiters are TCS, HCL, Urjitha Electronics, Sutherland and so on.

  Both the Faculty and Students are vibrant in honing the skills to assimilate cutting edge technologies in their respective fields. This motto is aided by the regular Professional Society and Club Activities. The College offers a good scope for Service – oriented Program organized by NSS, Fine Arts Association and Student Care Centre. Rain Water Harvesting units are also built with a societal impact in the College premises. The Human Resource Development Centre focuses on the full fledged placements for all department Students. Student Enrichment Programs are organized through professional societies such as IEEE, ISTE, BMSI and so on. National and International symposiums and conferences are also arranged to enrich the technical competency of the students. The Institute has a regular practice of applying for proposals to funding agencies, in which funds are received  on MODROBS, SPDC, Organizing Symposium, conference and so on.

  Carrying forward the motto “Towards Excellence”, the institution provides world class infrastructural facilities comparable with the best of its kind in the field of education, state of the art laboratories, innovative teaching-learning process and personality development program in moulding and creating students of high technical expertise and managerial capabilities.  The campus is lush green with well equipped laboratories and smart classrooms. Separate hostel facility is available for both boys and girls with multi-cuisine menu. The college provides Twenty Four hours Wi Fi facility. A specialized central auditorium with fully air conditioned facility comes with a seating capacity of 2500 with state of art facilities.
