PERI Institute of Technology, Chennai which was founded in 2010 is affiliated to Anna University and has been approved by AICTE. It is the brain child of Mr Saravanan Periasamy, the founding President & CEO of PERI Software Solutions Inc., a leading multinational IT Consulting and Services Company based in USA and The Chairman of PERI Educational and Charitable Trust (2007).PERI Institute strives to provide a world-class nodal centre of education where academics, communication, comprehension, visualization, practical application and leadership skills are imparted through encouraging research, training and development in technical and non-technical areas.

Admissions

Admissions are made as per State Government Norms. 65% of seats through Single Window Counseling and 35% of seats are filled through the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional Colleges, Tamil Nadu, as per the norms of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

PERI Institute of Technology, Chennai Admission Process
The admissions at PERI IT Chennai are done on the basis of TNEA counselling conducted by Anna University as well as direct admissions into the institute. As per the guidelines, 65% of the seats are reserved for single window counselling conducted by the university. The admissions into UG programmes is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying exams i.e. class 12. However, for applying to the M.E through the counselling process of Anna university, a candidate must have a valid score in the TANCET / GATE. Direct admissions are also offered by the institute.

PERI IT Chennai placements are managed by the placement cell of the institute that constantly networks with the industry and works towards arranging campus visits and pre-placement talks. The cell also conducts training and development activities for its students. The institute guarantees 100% placements to its students.
