About Us
Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology (AMCET), Vellore is an Engineering College started in 2012 under the R.T. Educational Trust, Vellore. It is situated in a sprawling campus of 25 acres in the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highways where many of the Government Buildings, Commercial Buildings and Hospitals are located.
The foresightedness and able guidance with the efficient administration of Mr. S. Ramadoss, Founder & Chairman, AMCET along with the resourcefulness of Mr. G. Thamothiran, Secretary & Treasurer, have equipped the college with excellent facilities such as spacious classrooms, seminar halls, well-equipped laboratories, excellent sporting amenities, dedicated high-speed internet connectivity (broadband) and well-qualified faculty. Three Academic Blocks house the different departments. The administrative building is an architectural beauty and a land mark in Vellore.

About Training and Placement AMCET aims to match the requirements of the Corporate World with the aspirations of the students thereby facilitating the achievement of synergy between the two. There are various Placements activities that are conducted throughout various semester to make them industry ready.At AMCET, it is our belief that experiences of corporate leaders provide invaluable earning to the students of engineering and managements a Series of Motivational Talk has been designed to serve as a forum for exchange of intellectually stimulkationg ideas between business heads and future managers through the seminar format. Internship play a major role in gaining hands-on experience at various industries.
There is a well equipped Training department which facilitates training related to employability skills at all levels. Over the year AMCET campus placements has seen a upward marching graph while longing for better placements in Core industries.About 80% of elegible students from the circuit branches are placed every year. Students have brought laurels to college by securing their positions in defense sectrors- Indian Navy and Indian Army. We also take pride in sharing some of the best placements of Companies likes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Core Organizations.
