This college has been established by Rev.Fr.Dr.J.E.Arulraj, MMI and managed by Sister of DMI. This institution is approved by AICTE , affiliated to Anna University Chennai. DMI is known for its time-honorable tradition of imparting quality education to the society and rendering social service without discrimination. Our college is situated in the western part of Coimbatore at Karamadai, 5 kms from Mettupalayam and 30 kms from Coimbatore Junction .

A 'Pass' in recognized bachelor's degree obtaining atleast 50% of the qualifying examination (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) Candidates who pass in the qualifying degree course will appear for TANCET Exam

For M.E the eligibility qualifications are:
10+2+3 years pattern (or)
10 + 3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern (or)

TPC encouraged our students to develop automated library software ‘Thakshasila’.

TPC encouraged our students to be a entrepreneur (there are 5 start-ups in different domains started by our students).

Through CSE department constant encouragement and guidance our student developed a biometric based attendance management system.

Our college students got sanctioned with fund of amount Rs.7500/- for a project ‘Automated personnel assistance using Rasberrypi’ by tamil nadu government.
